A Night for the Museum: Beyond the Pressroom
November 5, 2026 | 6:00–8:30 PM
State Capital Publishing Museum | Guthrie, Oklahoma
Join us for A Night for the Museum: Beyond the Pressroom, a special fundraising evening dedicated to the preservation and restoration of one of Oklahoma's most significant historic landmarks.
Held inside the historic State Capital Publishing Museum in downtown Guthrie, this event celebrates Oklahoma's rich history, the art of publishing, and the ongoing efforts to restore this remarkable 1902 building for future generations.
The evening will feature special guest Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell, a conversation with former Oklahoma City Thunder player Enes Kanter Freedom, original artwork by Oklahoma artist Zonly Looman, and an exciting live auction featuring exclusive experiences. Guests will also enjoy refreshments, historic exhibits, and special access to areas of the museum not typically open to the public.
Proceeds from the event will support the museum's continued restoration, preservation, and efforts to expand public access, educational opportunities, and historical programming.
Join us for an evening celebrating Oklahoma's past while investing in its future.
Auction will close on Thursday, November 5th @ 7:00pm. This silent auction utilizes a "soft close", meaning any Item bid on in the final 30 seconds will reset the timer on that specific item to 30 seconds. This will continue until the entire time elapses with no further bids.
A Credit Card will be required to create a bidding account. All cards will be automatically charged at the close of the auction unless previous arrangements have been made. All bidders will receive an email, listing winning items. On-site attendees will be able to pick up their items at the event. Off-site winning bidders will be contacted by a representative of SCPM to pick up their items at a later date. A 3% Convenience Fee will be added to all charges.
All sales are final.
